Integrations & setup guides

Publish stones from your inventory directly onto your own website. Choose per stone whether to show the asking price or “Price on application.” Details, photos and availability stay live — mark a stone Sold in GemPro and your website updates itself. Enquiries from your site land back in GemPro as notifications.

Set up once

1. In GemPro, open Settings → Website and click Enable My Website.
2. Give your storefront a name, an optional tagline, and an address (e.g. your-name) — this creates your hosted page.
3. Click Save Website Settings.

Then use any of the three

• Embed on your existing site — copy the one-line embed code from Settings → Website and paste it into any page on WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Shopify or a custom site. Your stones render right there, matching light or dark themes (data-theme="dark").
• Hosted storefront — a ready-made catalog page at your storefront address, with built-in enquiry form. Share the link anywhere.
• JSON feed — for developers who want full design control.

Publishing stones

1. Open any stone in Inventory and click 🌐 Website.
2. Choose Show asking price or Price on application, optionally add a public note or feature it, and hit Publish.

Push GemPro invoices into your Xero organisation as drafts — line items, GST, customer contact and reference included. Re-syncing an invoice updates the same Xero draft rather than duplicating it.

You'll need

• A Xero account with access to your organisation.
• A (free) Xero developer app — created once, below.

Setup

1. Go to developer.xero.com → My Apps and click New app.
2. Choose integration type Web app. Set the company URL to your website, and the redirect URI to exactly: https://api.gempro.app/api/xero/callback
3. On the app's Configuration page, copy the Client id, then generate and copy a Client secret (shown only once).
4. In GemPro, open Settings → API Keys → Xero, paste both, and click Save Settings.
5. Click Connect Xero, sign in to Xero and authorise your organisation. You'll land back in GemPro showing Connected.

Using it

Send invoice summaries and messages to clients over WhatsApp, straight from the Invoices module, using Meta's official WhatsApp Business Cloud API.

You'll need

• A Meta (Facebook) Business account and a phone number for WhatsApp Business.

Setup

1. At developers.facebook.com, create an app and add the WhatsApp product.
2. In WhatsApp → API Setup, add and verify your business phone number, then copy the Phone number ID.
3. Create a permanent access token: Business Settings → System Users → add a system user with access to the app → generate a token with the whatsapp_business_messaging permission.
4. In GemPro, open Settings → API Keys → WhatsApp Business, paste the Phone number ID and the token, and save.

Using it

Screen client names against global sanctions lists, politically-exposed-person registers and enforcement watchlists — directly from the AML/CFT module, powered by OpenSanctions.

You'll need

• An OpenSanctions API key — opensanctions.org/api (30-day free trial, then pay-per-query).

Setup

1. Register at opensanctions.org and copy your API key.
2. In GemPro, open Settings → API Keys → OpenSanctions (AML), paste the key, and save.

Using it

Your inventory in your pocket. Ask your own Telegram bot about stones and diamonds, scan expense receipts by photo, get daily briefings, and receive invoices as documents — access follows each user's GemPro role.

Setup

1. In Telegram, search for @BotFather and send /newbot. Follow the prompts and copy the bot token.
2. In GemPro, open Settings → API Keys → Telegram Bot, paste the token and click Connect.
3. Click Generate Link Code and send the code to your bot in Telegram — this ties the chat to your GemPro user.

Setup (optional)

1. OpenAI: create a key at platform.openai.com/api-keys and paste it into Settings → API Keys → OpenAI.
2. Anthropic (Claude): create a key at console.anthropic.com and paste it into Settings → API Keys → Anthropic.
